Sonya graduated from William Woods University, Missouri in 1996 with a double major in Fine Arts and Marketing, emphasis in Commercial Design. After graduation, she joined a small marketing company as a graphic designer but soon left to start her own shop in 1998 as a tailored extension of a client’a team. Her company SWITCH understands the big pictures. Helping clients with comprehensive creative plan. Whether it’s production, website development and e-commerce sales, media negotiation or strategy development, she understands the big picture while fulfilling the small details to propel your business forward.

Sonya has bought all forms of media: television, radio, billboard, print and digital. She has bought in many major markets including Dallas, Memphis and New York City and has bought in far flung areas such as Anchorage, Alaska.

Sonya has worked creatively and in the fulfillment of marketing promotional, apparel and event items – on both regional and national accounts in both consumer and business-to-business categories. Her first large success with “The Blair Witch Project”, produced by Artisan Entertainment, led to her involvement on a series of movies such as “Felicia’s Ashes”, “The Limey” and “Stir of Echoes”. Her work on the Artisan account led to a 2-year relationship with Imax Theatres. Notable national clients include Hilti, Love’s Country Stores, CBRichard Ellis and Gerber/Novartis. Local accounts include AAA Insurance, Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates and Rib Crib BBQ.
